Dum and friends on the street

 There is an old black male stray dog walking on the street in a small and busy town. It is pretty autumn in south Minnesota but no matter for "Dum" the stray dog and his fellow friends. A yellow cat "Sachi"  the same age as Dum is the genuine companion. He has a long tail and short ears. Apparently, he cannot hear well. They live inside an old building not far from the market. They make new friends with a blind raccoon and a white rabbit at a fruit stand. Also, a fatty groundhog comes along when they search for food under the tree in the park. The blind raccoon live in the big hole under the deadwood. He divides a part of his cavity to the tiny rabbit. In exchange, the rabbit gives him carrots and green veggies which he picks up from the vegetables plantation. Under the oldest church is the cosy pit where fatty lazy groundhog spend most of the time sleeping. He is not an energetic animal  but he goes out when hungry to search for food. It is a big benefit to him after joining the group because he only follows and waits to get his portion. However, he helps with carrying and dragging food when friends need extra hands without asking. 

As winter is coming, they must collect as many as food and fresh water enough then none leaves the warm houses to search for feeding the hungers. Everyone gets together and walks along the street. Each animal stops at the assign locations such as the market, the farm, the church and end at the train station. By the end of the day, they gather many edible items like big punches of bread, carrots and green vegetables, fried chicken, noodles and more. They help each other transport most consumable objects to their places and start the seeking again the next day. By the end of the autumn, they would get enough elements and that will be the time to rest and joy in their warm places through the cold weather.

Lucky news, they hear from the radio at the market that the district officers are going to build the zoo nearby the church. This is a chance for all of them to move out from the street and have a nicer place to live with plenty of food. Although, it is a long while not this winter.

The delightful moment of wild animals

 In the big woods far away from the town, there is a huge group of wild animals live happily together with love and peace. They are cerebrating their new born babies of all kinds and the supreme time for the great lion to remove his tuft. All kind of the animals attend the major event. Also, the stage to perform for talent animals both new and experiences. For instance, a peacock makes a tail-feathers spread dancing, a hog plays a clarinet, a dog plays a trumpet, a bear beats the drum along, a rhino plays slide, a beauty bunny sings English song, a turtle plays a saxophone, and a monkey plays the guitar. The music is magnificent, surrounded in the woods. Everybody enjoys and cheerful. Furthermore, a sweet female gibbon leads to a sexy dancing on the floor and invites all friends to join her. Once, the great lion gets on the stage and gives gratitude speech, everyone is quiet and listen to him. It is late night, the party time is over but the souls are always awake and wild in all animals.

A boy with a bear-cup

There was a small family living in the wood. There were colorful flowers beside the house and butterflies and bees roaming around. The deer and bears came to this field sometimes. A boy was the youngest one in the family. He loved to go to sit at the creek behind the house. One day, he went behind the house again , he sat on the rock near the creek and threw small rocks into the water and sang rabbit song that his mom sang to him while he was a younger boy. Suddenly, he saw a bear-cup walking toward him. A bear-cup was very hungry and made a sound like a baby bea…bea….It was so skinny. He was so excited and so sad to see him hungry. Then, he gave a piece of cookies to it and gentle put his hand on a cup’s head. While he enjoyed feeding and playing with the bear-cup ,he saw a buck (male-deer) and doe (female-deer) jumped up to the creek and ran away to the deep wood. His father came from other side of the creek hold an archery in his hand. The boy guessed that his father would went hunting in the wood. His father interrupted him and told him to stop feeding and playing because the bear-mother might come to get her cup and might hurt him. He was not happy but kept him safe and he followed his father back home.

I just noticed later and would like to leave it as cross the line over the word "would"...* would go not would went and in the story just the word "went"

An Ant and A Grasshopper

There is an ant and the grasshopper who are good friends. One day, the ant asks the grasshopper to go to the sugarcane field, looking for food. The grasshopper agrees and they leave home in the next morning. At the sugarcane field, they are looking for food and find a candy in front of them. It is their favorite as sweet then they are fighting to get it. Finally, the grasshopper gets it because it legs are longer than the ant's legs.

After storm always sunny

 

On the windy morning, the monkeys are on the coconut trees in the garden. Some of them run on green grass. They like milk. In the afternoon, they walk on the fence when the storm comes  and they jump to the windows. In Summer, they like to swim in the pond. There are many ducks at the side of the boat in that pond.

In Summer at a house near the pond, there are many ducks and monkeys live in the garden. The monkeys are running on the fence while the ducks are swimming next to the boat (at the pond). Monkeys like to jump on the window and go to the house for milk. Then, the storm comes. They will climb up on the coconut trees and the ducks run on the green grass. On the windy afternoon, they are very scared.

One day, there are ducks swimming in the pond next to the boat ,while the two monkeys are climbing on the coconut trees.Suddenly,the storm comes .The monkeys are moving from the coconut trees to the green grass and the ducks are running to the fence.Atfer the windy day, everything is quiet ,then the animals can go out.They are happy drinking milk together.

Saving a snake and her eggs

"Shhh" a young crow stops an old buffalo who is making very loud noise. "Stop annoying me black", an old buffalo said with frustrating voice. "Go away". "Shhhh! don't you hear that , old man?", a young crow on an old buffalo's back said. "What?" an old buffalo replied. 

"Be quiet!", a tiny crow replied.

It is late in the afternoon, two friends are in the middle of sunflower field. The sun is not angry today because he does not shine so hot. There is a huge and short coconut tree among the sunflowers where two friends have been settled since  the morning.

"Help, Help!"

"Do you hear that, old man?"  a tiny crow asked

"Yeah, it comes from behind, I will go check" an old buffalo replied

"Wait, I'll go with you and please walk slowly so I can stay on your back still." 

After that, two friends are heading toward the noise.

"Hey you, both of you" The two animals stop walking and looking around but they do not see anyone then they continue walking.

"Hey you, both of you."

"Where are you?" the old buffalo shouted.

"I am here, look up". 

"The Sun!" two animals said in the same time.

"Yes, it's me", the sun answered. "You must hurry go to the hut over there before water from that angry river hit it. There is a sick snake in the hut. Please go help her. She is not harm". 

Suddenly, an old buffalo starts running while the tiny black on his back is flying ahead.

"Hurry up old man, she is here". The buffalo is straighten to the hut and hit it hard until all sides collapse. There is a skinny white snake with four eggs inside.

"Can you  move" the tiny black crow asked.

"Yes, but I am not strong enough to hold my babies", the white snake answers with tear.

"Here, put your eggs in a coconut shell and I will take care them for you." the buffalo puts the coconut shell next to the white snake.

"Hurry up, hurry up, we must go now. The river is very angry and he is coming" the tiny black crow is shouting.

All are moving fast and not long, they are back to the coconut tree. 

"You and your babies stay here tonight and we will be back tomorrow. We will help you build a hut close by the coconut tree after lunch." The old buffalo said to the white snake while taking coconut leaves cover on her eggs.

"Thank you both of you for saving us"

เจ้ากบโชค อ๊บ อ๊บ The Frog adventures - Chapter One

ณ ริมบึงแห่งหนึ่ง มีฝูงกบอพยพมาจากที่ใดไม่ปรากฎได้ตั้งหลักปักฐานสร้างหมู่บ้าน "กบในกะลา" อยู่รอบสระ โดยที่กบที่อยู่แต่ละฝั่งไม่เคยข้ามไปฝั่งอื่นเลยแม้แต่ครั้งเดียว  กบทุกตัวมี"กะลา" เป็นของตนอย่างละหนึ่งกะลา ในบรรดากบเหล่านั้นมีกบน้อยแตกหนุ่มชื่อ"เจ้าโชค" ทุกวันเจ้าโชคจะนอนสบายใจ ร้องเพลงอยู่บนเปลที่ตนทำไว้ ภายใต้กะลาที่ลอยเหนือพื้นซึ่งผิดแผกจากกบตัวอื่นที่คว่ำกะลาแนบบนดิน โดยแง้มเพียงปลายกะลาด้านเดียวเอาไว้สำหรับเข้าและออก (ภาพประกอบใส่ภายหลัง)

กบแต่ละตัวจะอยู่ในพื้นที่"กะลา"ของตัวเอง จะออกจากกะลาเมื่อต้องหาอาหาร กระโดดลงไปในบึง และกลับขึ้นจากบึง ตรงดิ่งสู่"กะลา"ของตัวเอง โดยที่ไม่แวะไปที่กะลาของตัวอื่น เจ้ากบโชคก็เช่นกัน 

เช้าวันหนึ่งหลังจากเจ้ากบโชคหาอาหาร กินอิ่มหน่ำจากบึงกลับมานอนเปล และนึกไปว่า" อยากรู้จังในกะลาของกบตัวอื่นมีอะไร จะน่าอยู่สบายกว่าของเราไหมน๊า?" เมื่อคิดได้ดังนั้น เจ้ากบโชคกระโดดลงจากเปล และเริ่มเดินไปที่กะลาของกบตัวอื่นในฝั่งเดียวกับตน เคาะเรียกเจ้าของกะลาแต่ละใบและขอเข้าไปเยี่ยมชมด้านในกะลาของทุกตัวจนครบทุกกะลาในฝั่งเดียวกัน เจ้าโชคพบว่า ในกะลาทุกอันของกบทุกตัว ไม่มีอะไรเลย มีแต่ความมืด และราที่เกาะบนกะลา เทียบกับกะลาของตัวเองแล้วสบายกว่ามาก เพราะลมโชยพัดสบาย ไม่มีรา และ ไม่มืดทึบ  แต่เจ้ากบโชคยังคงมีความอยากรู้ถึงภายใต้กะลาของกบที่หมู่บ้านอื่นอีกฝั่งของบึงด้วยว่าจะมีความต่างไหม ดังนั่งเจ้ากบจึงตระเตรียม รื้อเปลของตัวและหงายกะลา ผูกเปลในกะลา แล้วลากกะลาลงน้ำในบึง...

It is a small pond far away from the town. There is an army of frogs from nowhere setting a village around it. I call the village, "Gob-nai-gala" in Thai. In English, Gob= frog, nai=in, gala=coconut shell. The frogs in all sides never crossed to another side. Each frog own one coconut shell. Among them, there is a young male frog named "Choke" . He lays in his DIY hammock under his coconut shell everyday and sing the songs happily. He is different from most frog because he created his own way to enjoy himself which lift the coconut shell half way from the ground while the others stay inside, under the shells. The other shells only ajar enough to get-in and go-out.

Every frog stays in its space, its own GALA and only leave from the shell when searching for food. They will jump into the pond and head back directly to their own shells"homes". None goes out of the directly or stop at other shells. Also Choke, he does the same as everyone else.

One day after he fetched for food and fill his stomach enough for the day then he comes back to his hammock. He is lying on it and thinking, " I want to know, what do other frogs store inside their shells? What do their shell look like? Do they comfortable like mine?" Immediately, he is jumping off the hammock and walking to other frogs's shells in the same side. He knocks on each shells to call the owner and politely requests to get inside. He spent time until visited all in the same side of his space. He found out, none of the other shells look like his. The only darkness is all the other frogs have in their shells and ugly mold on top of the shells both inside and outside. None can compare to his shell. His space and the open shell with a DIY hammock are fantastic. The air flows through, bright and free of mold. However, he is still curious to know about the inside shells of the frogs in the other sides of the pond. If they will be different. Eventually, he prepares and collapses his hammock, flip his coconut shell up. He ties the hammock inside the shells and drags the whole into the pond.
